Free on Android and iOS. Starting in Boulder, Colorado.

IT · CYCLING
gru·pet·to
noun · the little group

On a mountain stage, the riders who fall off the pace band together. Different teams, different jerseys. They share the work so every one of them makes the time cut.

"Stay with the grupetto and you'll get home."

Why the name

Every town has a grupetto. It's the local cycling scene.

The shop ride, the gravel crew, the Tuesday night race, the charity century, and the rider who just moved here and doesn't know any of it exists yet. They all share the same roads.

Velo Grupetto puts that whole scene in one place: who's riding, what's happening this weekend, where to meet, and who needs a hand. Find your people, then look after them.

How the scene runs today

Group texts. Facebook. A flyer at the shop.

Every club runs on whatever the organizer set up years ago, and every event lives on a different website. None of it was built for riding together.

Group texts

"Who's in for Saturday?" gets buried under forty replies. A new rider needs someone's phone number before they can even see the plan.

Facebook groups

The algorithm decides who sees the ride post. Half the club never does, and the other half sees it on Sunday.

Ten event websites

The cross race, the bike-park clinic, and the charity ride each live on their own calendar. You hear about them the week after.

Your scene deserves one place to meet.

Area calendar

What's happening on two wheels near you.

Races, clinics, charity rides, bike-park nights and trail work days, gathered every week from the calendars of local clubs, shops and promoters. One list, sorted by date, near where you ride.

See something good? Turn it into a group ride so your crew rolls to the start together.

For ride leaders & clubs

Move your group in one minute. Everything after that is automatic.

No spreadsheets, no chasing accounts, no re-posting the meetup. Set it up once and the app does the rest.

Sign in with a magic link, Google, or Apple. Nobody invents a password at the trailhead.

    Create the group

Name it, pick club or team, flag it No Drop, set skill levels, choose who can find it.

  2. 2

    Send one link

Share it in any app, or hold up a QR code at the start. No accounts to collect.

  3. 3

    They tap. They're in.

Install, sign in, land in the group. New riders go straight to the ride.

  4. 4

    Post a ride

A standing weekly ride, or a one-off when the forecast turns. Meetup spot pinned on the map.

  5. 5

    Everyone knows

Push to every member, RSVPs land live, and a change of plans reaches the whole group in seconds.

Rides

Standing rides and one-offs. Set it once.

Set up the Tuesday night worlds once and it repeats every week. Propose a spontaneous spin when the weather turns perfect. RSVPs show who's rolling before anyone clips in.

Meetup points come from Google Places, so "the coffee shop on Broadway" is one exact pin.

Shared rides open for anyone. A rider without the app sees a preview, installs, and lands on the RSVP.

Group chat

Chat that's actually live.

Change of plans? Everyone knows in seconds, on the road or at home. Ride announcements drop straight into the thread, and photos from the ride live where the ride was planned.

Push notifications when someone proposes a ride, when a join request is approved, and when the group is talking.

Ride safer together

Nobody gets dropped. Literally.

SOS and roadside help

Flat, mechanical, or something worse. Send an SOS with your exact location to your group and riders nearby.

Bike theft alerts

Report a stolen bike and alert the local cycling community. More eyes on the street.

Road hazard alerts

Potholes, glass, construction, bad intersections. Reports stay local, so riders in your area see what matters.

SOS reaches riders, not dispatchers. In an emergency, call 911 first.

Groups

Your kind of group. Your rules.

From a racing squad to Sunday coffee riders. You decide who can find you and who rides with you.

Open

Anyone nearby can find it and join with one tap. Best for community rides that want to grow.

Discoverable

Shows up in search, and an admin approves each join. Fresh invite links auto-approve for the first three days.

Private

Invite only. Nobody sees it unless you send them the link or show them the QR code.

No Drop

Say it up front

A No Drop flag and skill levels on every group, so riders find the right pace before they show up.
