1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Velo Grupetto mobile application or visiting velogrupetto.com (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). The Service is operated by Mile High Sandbox LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), a Wyoming limited liability company. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Velo Grupetto is a location-based cycling community mobile application that allows users to:
- Discover and join local cycling groups
- Organize and RSVP to group rides
- Communicate with fellow riders through group chat
- Report road hazards, bike theft, and other cycling-related incidents
- Send emergency SOS alerts to group members
Velo Grupetto is a communication platform that connects cyclists. We do not organize, supervise, or control any rides or cycling activities.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
4. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account using Google OAuth sign-in or magic link email authentication. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized that activity.
5. User-Generated Content and Zero-Tolerance Policy
Users may post content through the Service, including but not limited to chat messages, photos, ride descriptions, group names and descriptions, incident reports, and comments (collectively, "User Content").
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. Content or accounts violating this policy will be removed without notice.
The following types of content are strictly prohibited:
- Objectionable content: Hate speech, discrimination, threats of violence, or content promoting intolerance based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
- Sexually explicit material: Pornographic, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive content
- Illegal activity: Content promoting illegal activity, drug use, or substance abuse
- Harassment: Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or targeted abuse of other users
- Exploitation of minors: Any content that exploits, endangers, or sexualizes minors
- Spam and fraud: Spam, scams, phishing, or other fraudulent content
- Impersonation: Impersonation of other users, public figures, or entities
6. Content Reporting and Moderation
Users can report objectionable content and abusive behavior through in-app reporting tools. We take all reports seriously and will review them promptly. Upon review, we may take action including but not limited to:
- Removal of the reported content
- Issuance of a warning to the offending user
- Temporary suspension of the offending user's account
- Permanent ban of the offending user's account
We may use a combination of automated tools and manual review for content moderation. While we are not obligated to monitor all content posted to the Service, we reserve the right to review, screen, and remove any content at our sole discretion.
7. Content License
You retain ownership of all User Content you create and post through the Service. By posting User Content, you grant Mile High Sandbox LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and perform your User Content in connection with operating and providing the Service.
This license terminates when you delete your User Content from the Service, except that (a) copies in other users' devices or feeds may persist, and (b) cached or archived copies may be retained for a reasonable period for backup and operational purposes.
8. DMCA and Copyright
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used on the Service in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent:

Your notice must include:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and its location on the Service
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, email address)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
If your content was removed and you believe it was not infringing, you may submit a counter-notification with the required information specified under the DMCA. We maintain a policy of terminating accounts of repeat infringers.
9. Location Services
The Service uses your device's GPS to provide location-based features, including displaying nearby groups, rides, road hazards, and other cycling-related content. Location data is collected and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You may disable location services at any time through your device settings, though this will limit the functionality of the Service.
10. Emergency SOS Feature
The SOS feature is a communication tool between group members ONLY. It is NOT a substitute for calling 911 or contacting emergency services. Always call 911 first in an emergency.
The SOS feature allows users to send an emergency alert to other members of their cycling group. We make no guarantees regarding:
- Response time from other group members
- Availability of other group members to respond
- Network connectivity or message delivery during emergencies
- The accuracy of location information transmitted via SOS alerts
You acknowledge that the SOS feature is provided as a convenience and should never be relied upon as your sole or primary means of seeking emergency assistance.
11. Assumption of Risk
Cycling is an inherently dangerous activity that involves risks of serious physical injury, property damage, and even death. By using the Service to find and join group rides or cycling activities, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with cycling, including but not limited to:
- Collisions with vehicles, other cyclists, pedestrians, or obstacles
- Falls due to road conditions, weather, or mechanical failure
- Exposure to traffic, weather conditions, and wildlife
- Equipment malfunction or failure
Velo Grupetto is a communication platform that connects riders. We do not organize, supervise, lead, or control any rides. You are solely responsible for your own safety, fitness, equipment, and compliance with all applicable traffic laws and regulations.
12. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Mile High Sandbox LLC and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. "Velo Grupetto" is a trademark of Mile High Sandbox LLC. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.
13. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party services including Supabase, Google, and Firebase. Your use of features powered by these services may be subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or policies of third-party service providers.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE (INCLUDING RIDE DETAILS, MEETING LOCATIONS, ROUTES, OR USER PROFILES) WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
15. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MILE HIGH SANDBOX LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY DOLLARS ($50).
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mile High Sandbox LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
17. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
You may delete your account at any time through the app. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. The following sections survive termination: Content License, DMCA and Copyright, Assumption of Risk, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law.
18. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through in-app notifications and by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.
19. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
